What is poverty?

According to Merriam Webster Dictionary: This is a state of being poor or a state where by an individual lacks something.

I love how it's been illustrated, a state of being poor. Didn't say anything about money, capital, legal tender, or wealth. It simply what you lack that is very essential for your survival obviously.

Do you think it's only money you need to survive? Read on.

I have asked plenty of times these following questions; Why are Rich people not happy? Why are Poor people too not happy? Very true a rich man clearly has what a poor man doesn't but apparently funny life, the poor also has what the rich too doesn't have. So where's the balance? What is the generality? How do we come to know what we're actually lacking?

The psychology behind poverty includes;POWERLESSNESS, VOICELESSNESS, DEPENDENCY, SHAME AND HUMILIATION etc.

I know what you're thinking right now. A rich man can never face all the above, well maybe true or maybe not.

You possess money but yet the reason people follow you or obey your command is because of your pocket. Whereas, power is in the hands of a man who the people holds dearly to their hearts. That's a form of powerlessness because without what they see,you're nothing.

Once you loose it, you become voiceless. We all have what we depend on but it varies. Many rich complain about loneliness, lack of love etc which actually this money cannot buy and because they're dependent on what money cannot buy they're humiliated a d face shame because they'll always look like they're not contented.

DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT SAYING BEING RICH IS NOT NECESSARY. IN FACT IT IS VERY GOOD BUT IS THAT CONDITION SUFFICIENT?

Being rich is a Necessary condition not a sufficient condition. We are supposed to pursue the pursuer of money, pursue the pursuer of wealth, pursue the pursuer of the rich, so that we will be fulfilled. 

You might disagree but I think I'd rather pursue knowledge,which will be adding to my cognitive assets and also recycle the knowledge to others who are dummies in that area. Pursued one thing but adding a double to what I have.

Take your time,research,study and watch closely. Apart from the illegal money raisers we have in our midst, the ones truly making money in our societies are those actually rendering services you can not do without. They pursued the knowledge to serve you but in serving you, they make money.

Poverty for me is actually the lack of Information needed per time according to season for a tremendous breakthrough.
